    The definition of Shakespearean Tragedy is an opposite of a comedy. It is generally a very sad play, or ends in death and the demise of several if not all the characters. Shakespeare has written several tragedies such as Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth. Hamlet is a tragedy. It explores several dark themes, like Prince Hamlet's father being killed by his own brother. It also tries to bring out tragic emotion that is within people.
